Director Shankar is
wielding the megaphone for a big budget film with Vikram and Samantha in
the lead roles. The film is titled as ‘I’ in Tamil while the Telugu
version title is yet to be announced.
Vikram and director Shankar had teamed
up for super hit film Aparichitudu six years back produced by Aascar
Ravichandran and now, the trio teaming up once again with this new film.
While Santhanam is roped in for comic role in the film, Malayalam actor
Suresh Gopi will do an important role.
PC Sreeram will handle the
cinematography and AR Rahman, who is roped in to score the music has
already composed a song for the film. Action sequences will be handled
by Peter Ming of China and Anal Arasu. The regular shooting will
commence from July 15, 2012.
