Story: A
love tale passing different generations, the story is set on the
backdrop of 1910, 1960 and 2012. Three pairs Govind- Rukhsar, Krish-
Radha, Javed- Aradhana (Shahid- Priyanka) are born in these three
different times but the subject is the same, the love for the young boy
towards the pretty girl. While he is unable to express it in one of his
births, can he clear the confusion in the latest day? Will Javed and
Aradhana be together? Can Rukhsar realize Govind’s feelings? All this
forms the rest of the story.
Presentation: The
director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the
presentation was good, the narrative was engaging in parts. The
dialogues were nice, the script was adequate and the screenplay was
decent. Background score was good and three songs were worth humming.
Cinematography was impressive. Editing was upto the mark but missed out
on few scenes. Costumes were suiting the backdrop of the film while the
art department was rich and colorful. Shahid Kapoor has come up with a
committed performance and he scores well. Equally good is Priyanka
Chopra and their screen chemistry is nice. Prachi Desai makes her
presence felt. Neha Sharma was natural. Surendra Pal is standard.
Vrajesh Hirjee was good.

Conclusion: The film happens across three different times but the characters are same. However, while you know that something is cooking between them they don’t know about their past births, that is the interesting bit here. While the first half goes about with the elements of romance and comedy, the second half gets into the past and has a serious but poetic environment. Overall, the film scores in parts and it would appeal to the youth audience. At the box office, the openings will be strong due to star power and a lot will depend on the word of mouth publicity.
