Shahrukh Khan completes 20 glorious years and he is still ruling the industry. SRK rocked the film industry, though he didn’t have any connection here. He is a self made man and the King/Baadshah of Bollywood. He is surrounded by many fan followers and supporters in and outside the industry.
Shahrukh was born and brought up in a middle-class family. He is
married to Gauri Khan and have two children, son Aryan Khan and daughter
Suhana, and loves them a lot. Despite his hectic schedules, he finds
time and spend time with his family. We can say he is a Perfect Family
Man.
He started his career with television, during 1988-1990 and later
forayed into films. His first TV serial was Fauji (1988). His work was
very much appreciated. His other serials were: Circus and Dil Dariya. He
also played a minor role in In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones (1989).
In 2007, he hosted third season of the show Kaun Banega Crorepati. He
also hosted Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain (2008) and Zor Ka Jhatka
(2011).
He forayed into Bollywood in 1992 with debut movie Deewana, which
turned out to be a big hit at the Box Office. He also won a Filmfare
Best Male Debut Award for this movie. He achieved success from movies
like Darr (1993), Baazigar (1993), Anjaam (1994) in which he played
negative roles.
He has done varieties of roles till date: Obsessive lover in movies
like Darr and Anjaam, Villain in Baazigar, a coach in Chak De India,
lover boy in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Pardes, Dil To Pagal Hai, etc.
His few other best films include: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein,
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Devdas, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Veer Zaara, My Name Is
Khan, etc. His upcoming film are: One with Katrina Kaif starrer
yet-to-be-titled romantic movie, Chennai Express and Happy New Year. He
has acted with many actors and actress. Among actresses, his jodi with
Kajol Devgn, Rani Mukerji and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was much
appreciated.
He has acted in over 70 Hindi films. He won 14 Filmfare Awards from
30 nominations. He won eight Filmfare Best Actor Award, which makes him
the most awarded actor of all time (in that category and afterDilip Kumar). Government of India honoured him with Padma Shri in
2005 for his outstanding contribution in Indian Cinema. He is also the
third leading Indian actor to have his Wax statue at world famous Madame
Tussauds Museum.
He is also known for his smart business tactics. None can forget his
marketing strategy which he did for his film Ra.One. He is a co-founder
of Dreamz Unlimited production company and CEO and co-chairman of both
the motion picture production and distribution company Red Chillies
Entertainment and the animation studio Red Chillies VFX.
Not only this he is also a co-owner of Indian Premier League (IPL)
cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He is also the co-owner of
Mumbai franchise in the motorsport racing league i1 Super Series.
